Dalhart, Texas Facility
Hilmar Cheese Company's newest facility, located in the Texas Panhandle in Dalhart, Texas, resides in the center of the United States within a growing dairy region. The state-of-the-art cheese and whey protein plant processes up to 5 million pounds of milk each day.
On August 6, 2008, Hilmar Cheese Company announced the start of Phase II to increase capacity. The expansion is well under way. The expansion includes additional milk storage capactiy, natural American-style cheese production lines and expands Hilmar's line of innovative and highly functional whey products (see photos below).
