Hilmar Cheese Company Producer Recognized

Congratulations to Hilmar Cheese Company producer, Faria Dairy # 3, Escalon, who was recently recognized in the 2006 Merced County Fair’s Grade A Milk Producers’ contest, known as the Haydn J. “Mickey” Sartori Grade A Milk Producers’ Contest. The contest is held annually and is open to dairies located in Merced, Stanislaus, Madera and Sacramento counties. This year’s event attracted more than 663 entries with eight dairies receiving awards. Each entry is judged on flavor and bacteria counts, allowing producers to showcase their skills in producing high-grade milk.
