8 oz Hilmar Cheese Vintage Cheddar
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup dry white wine
2 tsp. cornstarch
Cubed baguette, veggies, crackers to dip.
Directions:
Grate Vintage Cheddar. Set aside. Chop garlic, place in
heated sauté pan, and let soften.
Add 1 cup white wine and bring to a simmer.
Whisk in the cheddar cheese slowly into the wine.
Bring mixture to a simmer. In a small ramekin, mix
cornstarch with 2 tbsp of cold water.
Whisk cornstarch mixture into cheese mixture
Bring back to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes until smooth
and no starch taste remains.
If mixture becomes too thick, stir in a little additional
warm wine.
Transfer to fondue pot or a ramekin and serve.
